LingoAce vs WuKong Education

November 21, 2025
LingoAce and WuKong are both language learning platforms aimed at schoolchildren. They primarily focus on learning Chinese and offer online classes (with small groups or individual lessons) and digital learning tools. Both services employ only certified, qualified teachers.

But LingoAce (founded in 2017) is a Singapore-based service that, in addition to Chinese, offers English and several other subjects. The company operates in over 100 countries and opens offline learning centers in the US and Australia to complement its online courses. Its main goal is to make learning more accessible and effective.

WuKong (2016) is a New Zealand-based company. This platform emphasizes technology (interactive exercises, gamification and AI) which allows students to plan their lesson schedules more flexibly. Parents have a dedicated mobile app that allows them to monitor their child's progress, schedule and join live lessons. For Chinese: WuKong offers specialized curriculums for different ages and levels: for example, “Preschool Chinese” (3-6 years old), “Explorary Chinese” (5-18 years old, for non-native speakers).
